Workshop: Sustainable AI for Humanity

Participants explored and discussed key challenges, opportunities, and strategies aimed at advancing the digital economy in ASEAN through effective utilization of data and artificial intelligence (AI), together with Dr. James (Kayliang) Ong, Founder & Managing Director, Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII), highlighting:
  • Bias and Input Quality: There was a recurring theme of how biases in prompts and the quality of input data significantly impact the outcomes generated by AI systems
  • Ethics and Morality: Who or what decides and justifies the decision-making processes?
  • Learning and Adaptability: AI's self-learning capabilities and continuous improvement means people have to find ways to add value where AI cannot

  • Emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity, such as AI-driven threat intelligence and security automation.
