2023 AIBP ASEAN Tech for ESG Awards Winners
The ASEAN Tech for Environmental, Social, Governance Awards is held with the key objective of recognising organisations who have embarked on ESG projects, utilising digital tools and innovative technologies, with proven impact and results in their sustainability and ESG efforts.
Bukalapak, Jabar Digital Service, Vingroup, were winners of the 2023 AIBP ASEAN Tech for ESG Awards.
A neutral selection committee is formed in each country to review local nominations and select the winners.

2024 AIBP ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award (Indonesia) Winners Presentation
Pertamina and Isuzu Astra Indonesia were winners of the 2024 AIBP ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award for Indonesia.
Representing their organisations to receive the award from Mr. Chairul Saleh, Director of Digital Economy, Director of Manpower Productivity, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Republic of Indonesia were:

According to the AIBP Innovation survey, 20% of Indonesian organizations have reported significant change using Generative AI, somewhat higher than the ASEAN average of 18%. This highlights an opportunity for Indonesian enterprises to deepen their AI understanding and accelerate their AI initiatives to unlock new business opportunities. Although the current impact of Generative AI is still growing, 58% of Indonesian companies are actively developing AI strategies and roadmaps. AI is driving innovation across industries, offering benefits such as enhanced customer insights and personalization, improved operational efficiency, and the promotion of data collaboration and standardization. These developments present significant potential for businesses to adapt and thrive in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Indonesia is experiencing a surge in interest and development in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics. While still in its early stages, the country is actively positioning itself as a leader in the responsible use of these technologies. 78% of Indonesian enterprises are planning to invest in big data analytics in the next 2-4 years and 70% are planning to invest in artificial intelligence.
